On Monday (20/01), the Regional Customs Office issued the first Bonded Zone Facility Permit in 2025. The permit was granted to PT Blue Ocean Foods Indonesia (BOFI), a company engaged in sardine and tuna canning, fishmeal and fish oil processing, as well as fish freezing and storage.
On Monday (20/01), PT Blue Ocean Foods Indonesia (BOFI) presented its business overview directly delivered by its President Director, Ahmad Musyafak.
The presentation is a mandatory step for companies to provide an overview of their business processes and the economic impact as a consideration in the decision-making process for the Bonded Zone Facility permit.
In line with the service commitment, the permit was issued one hour after the presentation. This demonstrates the Directorate General of Customs and Excise’s commitment to its role as a trade facilitator and industrial assistant, supporting domestic trade and industry.
PT Blue Ocean Foods Indonesia (BOFI) is located in Muncar Sub-district, Banyuwangi Regency, occupying a total land area of 25,705 m², with an investment value of IDR 98.371 billion, entirely sourced from Domestic Investment (PMDN). The company will gradually employ 721 workers, all sourced domestically, with the majority being local residents.
With this permit, it is hoped that the company will utilize it optimally and in compliance with the applicable regulations, driving economic growth and employment in East Java, particularly in Banyuwangi.
The East Java II Regional Customs Office is also committed to maintaining synergy and effective communication with stakeholders through guidance, assistance, monitoring, and evaluation to ensure optimal state revenue, effective supervision, and targeted facilitation/assistance.
